Rook Perfumes was found by a Jordanian UK-based doctor, who stands vocally in solidarity with Gaza for which he has now been suspended by Royal Free Hospital for his online advocacy. From their website:
“Our perfumer is also a medical doctor of 15 years. As a British Jordanian is he has always advocated for a FREE PALESTINE. His Employer of 15 years, the Royal Free Hospital, suspended him for “potentially upsetting posts on the Israel-Gaza conflict.” They provided no evidence of the complaint made anonymously and did not share the posts in question until weeks later. The posts in question called the IDF rapists and baby killers and identified the genocide as going down in both Jewish and Israeli history. All of these points are facts. Nadeem is now taking the Royal Free to employment tribunal.”
