In 2023, in an attempt to address its plummeting sales due to boycotts in Bangladesh (reportedly a 23% decrease in sales), Coca Cola launched a misleading advert in an attempt to mask its complicity in the ongoing Gaza genocide and undermine the public. The ad was met with international fury, forcing Coca Cola to swiftly withdraw the campaign.
