Rare Beauty has faced backlash after declaring it will donate to Magen David Adom i.e. the Israeli Red Cross, alongside the Palestinian Red Crescent, thereby creating a false equivalence between the occupation and Palestinian humanity. The Instagram post also refers to the ongoing genocide as a ‘humanitarian crisis’.
