Lidl is owned by Schwarz Group, behind which is Lidl’s chairman Dieter Schwarz who invests heavily in Israeli tech and “expects to invest millions of dollars in Israeli companies”. Lidl’s own brand Lupilu sell wipes made in Ashdod, occupied Palestine which was entirely ethnically cleansed of its Palestinian population in 1948.
