L'Oréal has a deep history with the Zionist state from when it first began operating in Israel in the mid 1990s - including a factory built on the ethnically-cleansed Palestinian village of al-Mujaydil, now the illegal settlement known as Migdal Haemek.
More recently — in 2008, L’Oreal presented $100,000 “lifetime achievement” award to a scientist (and to another in 2021) at Israel’s Weizmann Institute of Science, a long-standing centre for secretive research and development of nuclear, chemical and biological weaponry on behalf of the IOF. In 2021, L'Oréal also announced a new partnership with Israeli organisation BreezoMeter (now acquired by Google).
