❌ In 2007, P&G opened an R&D centre in Tel Aviv branded ‘P&G House of Innovation’ calling Israel a “startup nation”. This centre was established with the intention to “form partnerships with entrepreneurs, researchers and companies in the country” including a research collaboration agreement with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. P&G is also a major customer and advocate of Israeli fabric supplier Avgol (contributing to 40% of its revenue) which now operates in the Negev, where Palestinians have been forcefully displaced and ethnically cleansed, after moving from the vicinity of the illegal Israeli settlement of Barkan in the occupied West Bank.
