Match Groups owns and operates a global portfolio of dating apps including the newly acquired Salams app, Tinder, Match.com, Meetic, OkCupid, Hinge, Plenty of Fish and others.
CEO Spencer Rascoff is openly pro-Israel, with one of his LinkedIn posts reading:
“Proud to support Ohana Subleasing Co. (Neo ’23) co-founders Jacob Ian Halbert and Ezra Gershanok’s campaign to help cover rent bills for Israeli soldiers fighting overseas.”
This linked to a GoFundMe online fundraiser stating that hundreds of Israelis in the US went to Israel to ‘serve’ in Gaza after 7 October 2023.
Rascoff also held a previous role on the board of surveillance firm Palantir which has been deeply complicit in the occupation and the genocide in Gaza.
