As of April 2025, the Muslim marriage app Salams has been quietly acquired by the Match Group, whose CEO Spencer Rascoff is openly pro-Israel with one of his LinkedIn posts reading:
“Proud to support Ohana Subleasing Co. (Neo ’23) co-founders Jacob Ian Halbert and Ezra Gershanok’s campaign to help cover rent bills for Israeli soldiers fighting overseas.”
This linked to a GoFundMe online fundraiser stating that hundreds of Israelis in the US went to Israel to ‘serve’ in Gaza after 7 October 2023.
Rascoff also held a previous role on the board of surveillance firm Palantir which has been deeply complicit in the occupation and the genocide in Gaza.
