On 29 September 2025, Vercel faced outrage and calls for boycott after CEO Guillermo Rauch posted a photo of himself with Israeli PM Netanyahu, with the caption:
“Enjoyed my discussion with PM Netanyahu on how AI education and literacy will keep our free societies ahead. We spoke about AI empowering everyone to build software and the importance of ensuring it serves quality and progress. Optimistic for peace, safety, and greatness for Israel and its neighbors.”
The following day, Salesforce announced investing in Vercel’s $300m Series F using the phrase “doubling down on Vercel”, and that they are “thrilled to deepen our partnership w/ @rauchg”.
